The Beach Café at Beach Road, Wells-next-the-Sea is in an idyllic location backed by mature pinewoods and a stone's throw from the beach. The café re-opened in spring 2011 and has been transformed into a fresh and vibrant place to eat, drink and shop. It's the perfect venue and place to meet.

As summer arrives, whether dining al fresco on the sunny terrace or picnicking on the beach, you can enjoy fresh local produce at its best, with tasty snacks and light meals, a variety of hot and cold drinks and everyone's favourite - ice creams and ice lollies. Children will love our 'Children's Meal Deal' and can choose five of our 'Beach Bites' and get a FREE bucket to carry them in! The café also offers a selection of traditional beach goods as well as a range of products with a seaside theme, made exclusively for Holkham. You will be sure to find that perfect memento of your visit to north Norfolk.

In the winter months after a bracing walk on the beach, get comfy in our sofas and arm chairs around the warmth of the roaring wood-burning stove. Your four-legged friends are welcome inside too! We've got traditional board games such as draughts, chess and Scrabble to keep you occupied, newspapers to read at the weekends and even free WiFi. You'll love our range of knitted hats, gloves and scarves, ideal to keep you cosy. Our "Winter Warmer" drinks range will raise the temperature with Horlicks, Ovaltine, 'hot chocolate of the week' and even Bovril! Or if you are feeling peckish then our bacon baps and homemade chilli are just the job!
