The Gift Shop

We are sure you will enjoy browsing the many delights our Gift Shop has to offer where we have brought together a tempting and eclectic blend of gifts and souvenirs showcasing the work of many talented local producers and artisans. Every season we search for new talent, introducing new products to ensure you will find that perfect gift or memento of your visit to Norfolk.

This year we have extended the range of our unique and very popular 'Holkham Tweed' items made for us exclusively by Goddard & Son. The tweed was designed for the Holkham gamekeepers' suits by the Countess of Leicester and we now offer ladies ghillie hats, gentlemen's caps, waistcoats and two sizes of hip flasks, in this attractive and fashionable material.

Other new products introduced include a new selection of handmade bath and body products from Wild Planet, which uses natural and organic botanical plant extracts infused with aromatic pure essential oils. Norfolk Oak chopping and meat carving boards offer a bespoke Holkham branded design, made for us by Paul Williams, another Norfolk person and just ideal for your kitchen! For our younger visitors, we have added a series of beautifully illustrated children’s books telling of the adventures of 'Clay The Cromer Crab'.

We also stock an interesting paperback written by our archivist entitled "An A-Z through the Archives of Holkham Hall" which is a fascinating compilation of extracts dating from 1483 to 1962, giving an often amusing glimpse into the wide variety of documents in the Holkham Archives.

Following the success of our “Gallery” last year, we will again be exhibiting and offering for sale work by local artists, potters, glass makers and many more. Throughout the season we will be hosting demonstration days with some of our talented local suppliers – a great opportunity to see these skilled craftsmen at work and will also be holding book signings by local authors.
