The Rose Garden Café is situated at The Ancient House in Holkham Village, the oldest domestic building at Holkham. Ideally situated close to Holkham beach, it is the perfect venue after a bracing walk to sample our homemade produce.

In the cooler months enjoy the cosy atmosphere with a hot drink. Or as the weather warms up, you will be able to relax in the idyllic surroundings of the beautiful enclosed garden with its vibrant display of highly-scented roses.

From the decorated china to the delicious rose lemonade, the café has a true theme of roses. We pride ourselves in serving local produce cooked fresh every day with a menu offering light meals, fresh sandwiches, homemade soups and crusty bread, to delicious scones and mouth-watering homemade cakes ideal for afternoon tea. Or if you are on the go and don't want to stop for long, then why not try our takeaway service? We can provide the perfect summer picnic or try our soup and a bowl of Irish Stew as winter warmers.

Why not use the local Coasthopper bus service which runs from King's Lynn to Cromer and stops in Holkham Village right outside Ancient House and the Rose Garden Café? We've teamed up with the bus company Norfolk Green to offer you a free cup of filter coffee, tea or glass of squash on presentation of your ticket for the day's travel.
