Gift Shop Manager

We are seeking a full-time Gift Shop Manager to oversee the Courtyard Gift Shop in Holkham Park.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the continued success of our retail enterprise. The role will entail leading a vibrant team, including managing rotas, as well as supporting the retail buyer in ensuring the products chosen reflect the Holkham brand and style. You will also be in charge of maintaining high standards in visual merchandising and overseeing stock management.

As a Gift Shop Manager, you will oversee the shop’s financial performance, including budgeting, stock control and maximising sales, whilst improving profitability and reducing outgoing costs.

Additionally, the role will encompass duty management, ensuring smooth operations across the visitor businesses.

We are ideally looking for an individual with experience in retail or a visitor-facing business, with strong commercial acumen with the ability to set budgets and manage a profit and loss account. The ideal candidate should be well-organised, a strong communicator and an effective problem-solver. This role requires weekend and bank holiday work, plus evenings during peak times such as Christmas.

Hours: Full time

Salary: Dependent on experience
