Samuel Wyatt Vinery
Upon reaching the walled garden you’ll be greeted by the newly renovated Samuel Wyatt Vinery, a Grade II listed Victorian glasshouse with an elegant, classical façade. The vinery recently underwent extensive repairs to the timber glasshouse structure and north slate roof, as well as the ornate pediment fan light, external windows and doors, some masonry, and internal storerooms. Pass under the refined archways into a bright, airy space, with its own microclimate. Inside, you’ll find a collection of potted and planted vines and sweetly scented tender plants which require regulated temperatures. The vinery will also be used to overwinter an assortment of citrus trees.
