Here’s some information we find really useful, and we hope you do too. You can enjoy Holkham your own way; choose to visit our attractions, book a tour, talk or event, enjoy a jaunt through the park, a picnic by the lake or cuppa from the café. All you have to do is plan how to get here first.

 

Why not go car free?

Visit by bike, bus, train or on foot and enjoy 10% off entry – just show a valid train/bus ticket or bike on arrival.

Holkham Hall

  • Open Spring – Autumn on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. Now closed until Spring 2025.

Holkham Stories

  • Open daily between Spring and Autumn. Now closed until Spring 2025.
  • Adult: £7, child (ages 5-15): £1

Visit our interactive experience as we tell the tales of the estate’s rich 400-year heritage, and current, innovative projects focusing on sustainability and conservation. Discover how Holkham is paving the way for the future.

Walled Garden

  • Open daily between Spring and Autumn. Now closed until Spring 2025.
  • Adult: £7, child (ages 5-15): £1

Through the ornate Venetian gates and within sun trapped walls you’ll find Victorian greenhouses, an ornamental garden, a working kitchen garden and a vineyard, all surrounded by glorious flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Holkham Park

  • Park open daily, except Christmas Day
  • Free entry on foot or by bicycle, or £6 to park for the day

A rolling landscape of breath taking natural beauty. Whether you choose to walk, run, cycle, scoot or simply relax by the lake, there are hidden gems to explore and wildlife aplenty.

Holkham Beach

  • Lady Anne’s Drive car park open 6am-5pm from 4th November until Spring 2025
  • Parking from £3.60

Wells-next-the-Sea Beach

  • Parking from £3.60

A quintessential seaside town just a stone’s throw from Holkham. Wander the winding streets with an ice cream, enjoy fish and chips at the quay or visit the beach and revel in its row of iconic, colourful beach huts.
