While we can’t promise a white Christmas here at Holkham, you may still get one. Snow covered fields are beautiful for wedding photos but a downfall can affect your guest’s and supplier’s journeys to and from the wedding. Holkham’s driveway is a properly tarmacked road and when it gets snowed under it is salted and cleared by the estate team, so nothing will stop your guests getting to your big day. As we work mostly with local Norfolk suppliers, they are used to navigating icy country lanes and won’t have any trouble accessing the wedding venue come rain or snow.

All of the spaces are well-heated, so you won’t have guests standing around freezing, and we can provide outdoor heaters for those who want to experience the estate’s views. Plus, little details such as indoor bathrooms and in the Lady Elizabeth Wing and pathways lit up by atmospheric festoon lighting, make your guest’s experience at Holkham relaxed and comfortable.
