Love this cafe, genuinely dog friendly, whatever the weather. Friendly staff. Wood burner, dog beds, dog treats, nice choice of snacks hot and cold for the humans. The best beach for walks. Love it.

Wells Beach Café

Every man and his dog’s favourite hang out in Wells, and the ladies’ too! If being on the beach isn’t a treat enough, the Beach Café provides tasty goodies to enjoy alongside your stroll on the sand.
You’ll find us at the end of Beach Road, next to the pines and just before the walk over the dunes to the sea. Brimming with choice, you can start your day with a bacon or sausage bap, relax with a coffee and cake, or ponder over a selection of sandwiches, pastries and our famous sausage and vegan rolls at lunch time.
When the sun’s out, our picnic benches are the perfect place to enjoy an ice cream. On the most blustery days, we recommend warming up by the fire with a steaming cup of 100% rainforest alliance certified coffee or a hot chocolate topped with all the trimmings!
We welcome well-behaved dogs with open arms, and our puppuccinos, treats, doggy ice-creams and Bark Up Bar will certainly get their tails wagging.

The Beach Hut
Our Beach Hut hatch has now opened and we’re selling pizza and ice creams!
Pick up a slice or two (or more!) of pizza to munch at lunch or to take away to your house, holiday home, or for a picnic. Pizza options include Margherita, Pepperoni and Hawaiian, and keep an eye out for our specials.
We also sell delicious whippy ice cream if you fancy a cooler or sweeter treat. The perfect option for a day at the seaside!
