An Evening with Jake Fiennes
We are looking forward to this exclusive evening with Jake Fiennes, Holkham’s Head of Conservation and the author of Land Healer.
This experience includes one night’s dinner, bed and breakfast at The Victoria, a signed copy of Land Healer, and an intimate evening of dining and discussion with Jake Fiennes.
It’s the ideal experience for anyone interested in conservation, nature and wildlife.
You will be free to check in from 3pm and explore a little of what Holkham has to offer before getting ready for a very special evening.
Together with Jake, you will enjoy canapes, wines and a seven-course taster menu he has personally curated together with our head chef, Michael Chamberlain. Expect dishes celebrating the very best local and seasonal produce of North Norfolk. Take a look at the menu here.
After dinner, Jake will speak about his life’s work and vision for the future, before answering your questions.
Then, to bed, to enjoy a good night’s rest or perhaps a read of Land Healer!
The following day, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, before heading off to explore the Holkham National Nature Reserve, Holkham Park, and the estate’s numerous footpaths and cycleways… bringing to life the landscape that Jake will have no doubt talked passionately about the evening before.
To book, please call The Victoria on 01328 711008.

“We have an ever changing climate and in our lifetime we have seen the significant declines in biodiversity . So can we feed and ever growing population, maintain food security and have high value nature? Of course we can, it’s just about how we implement it.
In my talk I will give the guests an understanding of the complexity of the situation but also some of the simple solutions on how we deliver this, and an insight in to progressive and positive Land Management that is fit for purpose, people and planet.”
