What’s on

Pond Dipping

A chance for your children to connect with nature and experience Holkham lake’s complex aquatic ecosystem first-hand, giving them the skills and knowledge that books and screens cannot.

This event is extremely popular and limited to 12 places per session, so we ask that you kindly pre-book online to avoid any disappointment on the day.

Our learning team will be on hand with all the equipment, tips and techniques your young explorers will need to enjoy their pond dipping experience. Holkham lake is alive and it’s magical; your child will be amazed at what they can spot wriggling around once they’ve emptied their nets into their tray. Join us on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer holidays to discover what lurks beneath!

*FRIDAY 23RD AUGUST Please note that due to the forecast of high winds, there will be no pond dipping at 10.30am and 11.30am.
