What’s on
Up, up and away this May half term
This May half term, join us in a fun filled celebration of all things that can fly!
You’ll find lots of fun in the Walled Garden… here’s what to expect:
- Watch in amazement as hawks, kestrels and falcons soar through the skies over Holkham, in the birds of prey displays from Fens Falconry. Learn about these magnificent creatures from the experts and get the opportunity to see the birds up close
- Take part in some hands-on science experiments with Wild Science!
- Enjoy art and crafts activities like creating your own flying bunting
- Follow the bubbles for some pop-tastic fun! Carl’s Bubble Mania will be roaming the park and creating wonderful bubbles of all shapes and sizes
- Take part in our Mystery Creature trail and test your skills at solving riddles
- Sit back undercover in the beautiful Samuel Wyatt vinery and listen to amazing tales from our Storyteller
Plus, we’ve got the Norfolk Children’s Book Centre joining us with a pop-up bookshop in the Education Room.
You can also hire bikes and explore even further, or test your head for heights on the ropes course.
The woodland play area will be open for explorers, big and small, to let off some steam and let their imaginations run wild.
Stop for a bite to eat at the Courtyard Café, here you can choose from a selection of sandwiches, wraps, hot food, and salads – plus everyone’s favourite sausage rolls, and vegan ones too! Our wide variety of cakes and traybakes will make sure your sweet tooth is satisfied.
Dogs are welcome everywhere except Holkham Hall itself; please do not leave dogs in cars. Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere.
Please contact our Visitor Reception if you have any specific accessibility requirements you wish to discuss, they will be happy to help you.
